Job PurposeThe Transport Manager plays a key role in managing transport operations to ensure efficiency, punctuality, and compliance with safety standards. This role is responsible for developing cost-effective logistics strategies, supervising drivers, and ensuring that transport activities meet client requirements—especially within the context of Service Logistics (Fleet Trailer) , which supports various types of transportation including Trailer Trucks with curtain-side containers. The role also involves ensuring the accuracy and traceability of transport-related data and documents. Key Responsibilities1.
 Transport Operations ManagementPlan and oversee transport operations to meet SLA (Service Level Agreement) standardsManage and optimize delivery routes and load planning to improve efficiency and reduce logistics costsCoordinate and manage fleet operations for Cold Chain, animal feed trucks, and trailer curtain-side containersMonitor real-time transport status and respond promptly to any issues or emergenciesEnsure the completeness and timely return of transport documents such as delivery notes, invoices, signed receipts, and goods acceptance forms2.  Compliance & Safety ControlEnsure all transport operations comply with government regulations and internal policiesDevelop and implement safety and security measures to prevent accidents and ensure driver readiness3.
 Driver & Team ManagementSupervise and enhance driver performance to meet safety and service standardsManage and schedule driver shifts appropriately based on route requirementsConduct regular performance evaluations and organize training when necessaryFoster strong working relationships with drivers to maintain morale and discipline4.  Transport Data & DigitalizationUtilize TMS (Transport Management System) and GPS tracking to analyze and improve transport performancePrepare transport analytics reports for performance monitoring and decision-makingCoordinate data accuracy between internal systems and client platforms to ensure consistency and up-to-date information
