Facilitate the development of community-based prevention efforts to identify specific problems or issues of concern, promote shared decision-making and cooperation, and foster collaboration and partnership among policy makers, leadership and community members.
Facilitate the development of community coalitions, collaborations, partnerships and teams to support County initiatives and act consistent with the goals and objectives of contract. Engage in ongoing efforts to recruit new members (to include youth), maintain existing commitments and promote trusting relationships between law enforcement, local businesses and merchants, civic organizations, health care systems, youth, parents, schools and other community or school entities to influence environmentally. Gather data, document processes, develop action steps and/or action plans for solving or preventing identified problems pertaining to alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. Maintain confidentiality of clientâs care.
Participate in scheduled program meetings. Other relevant duties as assigned. QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required. Valid CA driverâs license and current auto insurance per contract requirements. One year of prevention services experience preferred. Cultural Competency understanding required. Bilingual preferred.
