Role Description This is an on-site role based in Nigeria for a Mentor at Mentorship for Acceleration. The Mentor will provide guidance and support to aspiring tech professionals, sharing expertise and real-world insights to help mentees develop their skills. Responsibilities include leading mentorship sessions, conducting hands-on evaluations, offering constructive feedback, assisting with project work, and advising mentees on career development. The Mentor will contribute to creating an engaging and enriching learning experience for individuals enrolled in the program. Qualifications Expertise in one or more key tech areas: Software Development, Cloud Computing, Product Design (UI/UX), Cybersecurity, Data Analysis, or Content WritingStrong mentorship and leadership skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and guidanceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive, effective mentor-mentee relationshipsProven ability to engage in hands-on, practical training and assessmentsFamiliarity with career development strategies, including resume optimization and interviewing techniquesCommitment to empowering and supporting tech learners in achieving their career goalsPrevious mentoring or teaching experience is a plus
