Job DescriptionAbout the job MEP Estimator - Fluent EnglishWe are seeking a MEP Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and quantity takeoffs for HVAC (Duct & Pipe) and Plumbing systems, including all related accessories. You will work with mechanical drawings, takeoff software, and Excel to ensure precise project cost analysis and support tendering activities.This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise with a leading Mechanical Contractor in the Chicago, IL, USA area while being based in our Cairo office.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform quantity takeoffs for HVAC (Duct & Pipe) and Plumbing systems, including accessories.Prepare accurate cost estimates using company-standard tools and software.Read and interpret mechanical drawings for HVAC and Plumbing systems.Ensure accurate material selection, connections, and accessory specifications.Create cost summaries and estimation reports for tender submissions.Utilize Excel (advanced formulas & worksheets) for calculations and reporting.RequirementsBachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).Fluency in English (written & spoken).0 to 3 years of experience in MEP projects (HVAC/Plumbing focus).Strong knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing systems and material specifications.Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.Excellent Excel skills (formula-based worksheets).Direct estimation/takeoff experience is preferred but not mandatory (training will be provided).BenefitsProfessional Development & TrainingQuarterly Bonus PlanSocial InsuranceMedical InsuranceWork ArrangementFirst 3 months: On-site training at our Cairo, Egypt office (Nasr City).After 3 months: Work-from-homeWorking hours: 4:00 PM 1:00 AM Cairo time.
