We are an International Fashion brand based in Paris.Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Strategy & Merchant Director to lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from defining the product offer to managing its market performance, sales forecasts, allocations and replenishments— within a dynamic and evolving organizational context driven by change management.This is a high-impact leadership role interfacing with executive-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams across the business, both in domestic and international markets.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and lead the global product strategy across all product families.Oversee the full product lifecycle, including offer development, sales forecasting, and end-of-life planning.Collaborate closely with senior leadership across Purchasing, Marketing & Communication, Retail, Export, E-commerce, and Group Supply Chain.Construct the seasonal collection plan by product category, along with associated sales and purchase forecasts, ensuring alignment with business targets.Develop and implement the supply strategy and commercial policy across all markets.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), define store clusters, manage and revise Open-To-Buy (OTB) plans, and lead the promotional calendar (sales, discounts, special campaigns).Oversee pricing strategy and restocking processes.For this role, you will manage teams of demand planners and merchandisers responsible for sales animation and allocations, purchasing budgets, in coordination with product managers to identify market needs and co-develop seasonal collection plans.Key RequirementsMinimum of 15 years’ experience in upstream and downstream merchandising within the fashion retail industryProven international experience is essential.Strong ability to anticipate market trends and adapt quickly to change.Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization.Fluent in English (spoken and written) - French is a plusAdvanced Excel skills are mandatory.
