Dublin we are currently seeking a Merchandise Planner to join our team on a Maternity cover contract.The Merchandise Planner will be responsible for forecasting demand, planning stock levels and ensuring we have optimal stock levels to align with our sales goals. Key tasks include analysing sales trends, coordinating with suppliers on stock and forecasts. The role also involves working along side the Product and Marketing Managers, requiring strong communication, organisational and analytical skills.YOUR JOB - Your Task Will IncludeCollaborate closely with Buyers and cross-functional teams to forecast stock requirements, ensuring clear communication of needs and risks.Present forecasting insights and stock strategies in meetings using Excel-based tools and visual reports.Lead discussions on replenishment setup and performance, ensuring ERP settings are aligned with business needs.Communicate with suppliers to confirm stock availability and resolve issues with back orders.Facilitate regular reviews of replenishment settings with GMs and Product & Marketing Managers, presenting findings and recommendations.Analyse sales and inventory data to identify opportunities and risks and communicate actionable insights to drive decisions.Ensure core lines are consistently available, presenting stock status and branch-level performance in planning meetings.Prepare and deliver reports on inventory and margin performance, becoming a key contributor in team presentations and planning sessions.Work with Master Data and Buying teams to ensure product data accuracy, clearly communicating updates and resolving discrepancies.YOUR PROFILEYour Knowledge, Skills And Experience Will IncludePrevious experience in Inventory Planning.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systemsStrong Analytical Skills and Demand Planning expertise.Excellent Communication skills to collaborate across teams.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systemsWHY PEOPLE JOIN US!We are dynamic and growing.Fun, high energy work environment.Culture of developing and promoting from within the company.Our entrepreneurial spirit.Generous staff discounts.Additional InformationThis is a fixed term contract covering a period of Maternity Leave.This role involves periodic travel to the United Kingdom for business purposes.
