Position: M&A Manager/AssociateLocation: Seoul, South KoreaRole Purpose/Mission:Headquartered in Seoul, our team of executives has extensive experience in developing renewable energy projects in South Korea. Our portfolio primarily consists of small-scale solar PV projects in various stages from development to operation.With the goal of becoming one of the top solar developers in the country, we set high standards for sustainability and operational excellence in the Korean renewable energy market. We target to develop a portfolio with over 400 MW capacity, contributing significantly to South Korea's renewable energy targets and supporting the country's transition to a low-carbon economy.Key Responsibilities:As the M&A Manager, you will report directly to the Head of M&A and play a crucial role in driving our M&A initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:Executing all aspects of financial modeling and valuation analysisPerforming detailed due diligence, including financial, tax, and accounting reviewsConducting market research and screening potential M&A targetsBuilding and maintaining complex financial models for deal evaluationPreparing investment memoranda and presentationsHandling deal documentation and data room managementSupporting transaction structuring from accounting and tax perspectivesPerforming business and financial analysis for deal executionSupporting the Head of M&A in all transaction-related mattersQualifications:4-7 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or accounting firms' Deal Advisory or Transaction ServicesHands-on experience in financial modeling and deal executionPractical understanding of the M&A processAbility to work independentlyExcellent multitasking and project management skillsNative-level Korean proficiencyBusiness-level English communication skillsInterest in the renewable energy sector preferred
