The depth of knowledge amongst its teams and divisions provides its customers with clear advantage, and its technology-led service provides access to all major exchanges, order-flow management via screen, voice and DMA, plus award-winning data, insights and analytics.Role SummaryA diligent and proactive individual, responsible for managing execution risk for the Metals product set within group risk appetite and defined risk limits during the Asian time zone. Junior/mid-level position with the ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team.This role covers the Sales/ Brokerage function within the Metals department.Overall ResponsibilitiesManage internal and external metal flows across all Marex order platforms, products to include, base, ferrous, foreign exchange and precious metals.Execution of and where necessary, the booking and manual recapping of new trades.Manage Marex Spectron market risk for Metals product set within group risk appetite and defined risk limits whilst generating positive returns.Reconcile client and internal flows ensuring all book positions are validated and accepted by London team upon handover of Franchise to London time zone.Collaborate with sales/broking functions across multiple time zones to originate hedging solutions for clients with a focus on helping build out the Metals client base in Asia.Standard Responsibilities: Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under local regulatorsAdhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.At all times complying with Marex’s Code of Conduct.To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required.To escalate risk events immediately.To provide input to risk management processes, as required.
