Job Description

MHR Education is a trusted education consultancy and test preparation centre, committed to helping students succeed in their study abroad journey. As an upcoming authorized TOEFL test centre and a leading provider of IELTS, TOEFL, and HSK preparation courses, we are expanding our academic team to meet growing demand. We are currently hiring a Head of Dept (English & Academics) who will not only deliver high-quality classes, test prep instruction but also lead our academic and consultancy staff, playing a key role in the growth and academic excellence of MHR Education.

ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Student SupportConduct structured and engaging TOEFL / IELTS preparation classes, with a focus on speaking, writing, and test strategy. Design lesson plans, practice materials, and mock exams tailored to student needs. Monitor student performance and provide personalised feedback. Academic & Team LeadershipOversee the quality and delivery of all test prep programmes (TOEFL, IELTS, HSK). Mentor and support junior instructors and student consultants. Coordinate academic scheduling, resource planning, and curriculum development. Ensure consistency in teaching quality, progress tracking, and student satisfaction. Coordination with Counselling TeamCollaborate with education consultants to align academic guidance with student study-abroad goals.

Contribute to student consultations when academic input is required. Strategy & Quality AssuranceStay updated with changes in testing formats, scoring systems, and global education trends. Play an active role in improving academic operations and contributing ideas for growth. RequirementsIELTS score of 8.
