Our mission is to deliver smart, technology-driven, and design-forward accommodations that meet the needs of today’s traveler while upholding the highest standards of service.Your roleAs a MICE Coordinator at São Félix Hotel (Laundos area, 30 minutes from Porto) you will be at the heart of delivering seamless and memorable events, from corporate meetings to incentives and conferences.You will manage all aspects of event planning and on-site execution while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure every detail aligns with client expectations.Building and maintaining strong relationships with companies, tour operators and agencies will be a key part of your role, allowing you to provide personalized solutions and create exceptional experiences that leave a lasting impression on our guests.Your JourneyBuild and maintain strong relationships with companies, corporate clients, tour operators and agencies.Negotiate rates and event packages with professionalism and attention to detail.Leverage your industry network to provide personalized solutions and foster long-term partnerships.Coordinate all event logistics, including proposals, BEOs, room setup, AV, catering, accommodations, transportation and activities.Conduct site inspections and showcase the hotel’s MICE facilities and services to prospective clients.Collaborate with internal teams (sales, banquet, culinary, front office, reservations, operations) to ensure flawless event execution.Oversee on-site delivery, client communication and real-time problem-solving during events.Track event performance, gather client feedback and prepare post-event reports for management.Handle billing, deposits, payments and post-event invoicing with accuracy and transparency.Stay informed about hotel services, promotions, MICE packages and competitor offerings to provide clients with expert guidance.What Do You Bring To Your TripMinimum 2 years of experience in hotel events, banquets, sales coordination or MICE planning is required.Background studies in Hospitality, Tourism, Event Management, Business or related field.Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.Familiarity with the MICE sector and an established network of industry contacts to support client relationships and business development.Knowledge on hotel CRM/PMS systems (Opera, Sales Force, etc.) is a plus.Strong attention to detail, budgeting efficiency and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends or extended hours during major events.Professional appearance and a positive attitude aligned with hotel standards.Together we revolutionize the way people travel!Diversity and SustainabilityAt Olala! we take pride in cultivating a vibrant and inclusive work environment that celebrates individuality and diversity.
