Microbiology Lab Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities:Perform micro sampling and microbiological analysis (bioburden and endotoxin testing) of chemical raw materials, solution mixes, in-process analysis and water samples and perform sterility testing for finished products.Operating lab instruments:SAS Air SamplersLiquid Particle CounterAir particle CounterMicrobiological IncubatorsRefrigeratorsFreezerDehydrogenation OvenAutoclaveMicroplate Readers for Endotoxin testWater bathsVortex MixerMicroscopeBiosafety CabinetsEquinox Pump for Sterility TestDry block for gel clot LAL testAssist the supervisor in the general maintenance of the microbiological laboratory Coordinate with other departments and provide support (critical systems work ordersCollaborate in the qualification protocols and preparation of SOP’s and associated changes to procedures Perform environmental monitoring sampling and testing.Assist supervisors in the out of limit (OOL) investigation Handling of microbial reagents, growth media and biological indicators.Perform inventory and requests for lab reagents and consumables Work in different production shifts as the business required. Education: Bachelor's degree of Microbiology, pharmacy or medical labs.Experience: 2 years’ experience in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
