Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and pursue new business opportunities for microgrid solutions in Burkina Faso.Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, including government entities, NGOs, private companies, and communities.Conduct market research and gather intelligence to understand customer needs, competitors, and emerging trends.Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations tailored to client requirements.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in alignment with company policies.Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and meet client specifications.Monitor sales targets, prepare sales reports, and provide feedback to management.Participate in local trade shows, industry events, and community engagement activities.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.Proven sales experience, preferably in renewable energy, power solutions, or technical sales.Strong understanding of energy systems, microgrids, and off-grid solutions is a plus.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Fluency in French; knowledge of local languages (Mossi, Dioula) is an advantage.Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.Willingness to travel within Burkina Faso for client visits and project support.CompetenciesCustomer-focused approachStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsTeam collaboration and coordinationAdaptability to challenging environments
