Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer

1. High-Level DescriptionA technical role responsible for designing, deploying, and operating a Microsoft Fabric–based data platform, including environment setup, automated ingestion pipelines, data quality enforcement, and full Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) implementation.2. Responsibilities· Deploy and configure Microsoft Fabric components (OneLake, Synapse, Data Factory, Purview) in Azure platform.· Build automated ingestion pipelines for SQL databases , RIS , and EPMS.· Implement Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers using a Medallion Architecture approach.· Apply data validation and business rules in the Silver Layer using Purview Data Quality.· Develop incremental loading, schema drift handling, and metadata-driven frameworks.· Implement lineage, governance, and quality monitoring using Purview.· Optimize Delta Lake structures, transformations, and performance.· Set up security, access control, workspace governance, and CI/CD for Fabric assets.3. Required Skills· 2-4 Years of experience· Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Synapse, Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2).· Strong SQL, PySpark, and notebook-based data engineering experience.· Expertise with Purview Data Quality, cataloging, governance, and lineage.· Deep knowledge of Medallion Architecture and Delta Lake.· Experience building large-scale ingestion pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions.· Azure fundamentals (networking, security, AAD, capacities).· Metadata-driven pipeline design and automation techniques.· Power BI for building semantic models, datasets, and reporting dashboards integrated with Fabric.
