Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Consultant

We are looking for an individual with consulting experience (or equivalent industry experience) in the Microsoft Collaboration space to join our Modern Workplace division. This individual will have led engagements in and have real world experience in Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Pages development, as well as Copilot for M365 Agent development. The role requires someone who can manage multiple projects and customer engagements at the same time and be able to manage their time effectively. You must be self-driven and able to work either in a group or on your own and have a healthy understanding of reporting structures.·      Ability to deliver end-to-end solutions with minimal supervision.·      Experience in managing projects independently, including stakeholder management.The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker who prioritises developing solutions that are genuinely in the customer’s best interest, rather than simply building whatever is requested. You must be able to critically assess customer requirements, explain and justify best-practice approaches, and confidently guide customers towards optimal solutions before proceeding with development. Responsibilities:Act as a subject matter expert during pre-sales engagements.Understanding customer requirements and translating them to best practice solution Experience in running discovery workshops.Ability to document requirements.Developing effective applications using SharePoint, Dataverse and SQL server in combination with Power Apps and Power Automate.Developing effective Copilot for M365 agents containing automation and customised functionality. Must be able to specify, build, deploy and design agents using Copilot Studio.Ensure our clients are trained to the highest of standards to reduce support overhead.Support our existing clients who use our solutions. Minimum Requirements:English proficient to business level with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients from a wide range of backgrounds.At least 3 years of proven real-world experience in setting up and managing, Power Apps and Power Automate integration into SharePoint, Teams, Dataverse and SQL environments using security best practice.A solid understanding of working with and setup of Microsoft tenants, SharePoint online administration, Power Platform, Teams administration, Entra ID integration.At least 1 year proven real-world experience developing effective Copilot for M365 agents containing automation and customised functionality. Must be able to specify, build, deploy and design agents using Copilot Studio.Experience with prompt engineering or custom connector development.General web design concepts and using graphics tools where needed.Comfortable leading engagements with our customers.Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time.Strong analytic, problem solving, communication and collaboration skills.Ability to identify, manage and escalate issues when necessary.A healthy understanding of reporting structures.Ability to lead administrator and end user training sessions.Preferable:Microsoft certifications in relevant areas.Experience with Power BI.Understanding PowerShell, CSS, JSON, jQuery, JavaScript, .NET.End user and administrator training experience. Additional Azure OpenAI experience. Experience with automated testing tools for Power Platform.Experience working in regulated industries.
