Solutions Assessment Consultant – Japan MarketLocation: JapanExperience Level: 3+ Technical experience with 2+ years in Microsoft ecosystem (as an FTE, Vendor, or Partner)Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Japan TimeThe RoleThe Microsoft Solution Assessment Consultant is a critical member of our team, responsible for the customer experience and quality of the assessment services delivered, ultimately helping organizations define a roadmap to achieve their strategic goals. Individuals in this role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Solution Assessments, using best-in-class Microsoft 1st and 3rd-party platforms such as QS Solutions Cyber Security Assessment Tool (CSAT), Lab3 Dr Migrate, Azure Migrate and competent in AI and Copilot business solutions.This position will specifically require supporting clients based in Japan, ensuring the delivery of tailored and regionally relevant assessments aligned with local business and regulatory needs. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively with stakeholders in Japan and may need to align their schedule to accommodate regional time zones and customer engagement preferences.ResponsibilitiesSuccessful candidates will be able to deliver all components of an assessment, in line with the Roles and Responsibilities of a vSAC which includes the the following consultation and technical analysis activities:End-to-end execution of Solution Assessment. Manages and executes the activities required to perform an assessment.Customer engagement acts as a point of contact for the customer during solution assessment execution processSubject Matter Expert on both first- and third-party discovery toolsEducate customers on assessment toolsManage SA provision inclusive of customer engagement relating to deployment and data coverage;Responsible for trouble-shooting deployment for customersPerform Copilot Workshops and other assessment portfolios relevant to Microsoft AI Business Solutions.Assessment Process:Presales, Kickoff and Scoping: Understanding customers’ business objectives and technical requirements, articulating the relevant benefits and outcomes realized through a Solution AssessmentDiscovery: Determining the optimal platform to achieve the stated objectives, supporting deployment through complete discoveryAnalysis: Completing analysis of the collected data, identifying key insights, and producing an executive summary assessment report.Assessment Review with Microsoft Solution Specialists, Account Team and/or Microsoft Partners before customer presentation.Presentation: Presenting key insights and actionable recommendations in an appropriate summary form to relevant customer (CXO, Technical Lead, etc.) and Microsoft stakeholders (ATU, STU)Cross-Team Coordination: Supporting a seamless customer transition into post-assessment actions with relevant Microsoft or Partner teams.The OpportunityCandidates in the Consultant role will leverage and grow critical career skills in collaboration with the Microsoft and Inviso Solution Assessment teams. Candidates will also benefit from the broad network of Inviso lines of business and client relationships across Azure, BI, Software Asset Management (SAM), Marketing, and Consulting solution areas.Experience required:3-5 years of practical experience in solution sales, technical sales, or consulting in Microsoft solutionsProficiency in English and Japanese languageStrong written and verbal communication skills - ability to communicate information to both technical and non-technical audiences, position Solution Assessment and Cloud solutions, as well value proposition to potential new customers, etc.Strong comprehension of Cloud technologies, Microsoft 365, and Azure solutions and related solutions/tools subject mattersAssessment discovery platforms – practical experience assisting customers deploy, troubleshoot, and leverage the stated platforms (two or more)Experience in performing CAF and governance model workshops to uncover customer Cloud migration reasons and goals.Experience in deploying Cloud solutions and architectural design is desirable.Preferred Certifications:Having the following Microsoft certifications is desirable:AZ-900: Microsoft Azure FundamentalsSC-900: Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity FundamentalsMS-900: Microsoft 365 FundamentalsAdditional qualities that would be helpful:Experience working with Microsoft Solution Assessment team and a Microsoft and/or Partner role (optional)Demonstrated ability to manage the timely delivery of a portfolio of multiple, complex projects concurrentlyA team player with a learning mindset. Ability to learn fast and deliver the assignmentsA history of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, of quickly digesting diverse subject matterStrong attention to detail, data analysis, and analytical skillsA working familiarity with Microsoft Office products is desired, particularly Excel, interacting with and reporting on dataSelf-direction and a focus on quality, with the ability to apply independent judgment to accomplish objectivesExperience in any area(s) of IT, Systems Administration, Windows or Linux OS, Networking, etc.Microsoft 365 and/or Azure administration, migration, development, etc.Experience in Essential Eight FrameworkAbout Inviso:Inviso partners closely with Microsoft to accelerate customer cloud journeys through a comprehensive portfolio of Solution Assessment offerings.
