Mid-Level Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Within our outsourcing division we are looking for a motivated Mid-Level Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our outsourcing division. In this role, you will contribute to the design, enhancement, and maintenance of database applications using Oracle technologies. You will collaborate closely with senior developers, analysts, and QA engineers to deliver reliable and optimized database solutions for our clients. This position requires 3 days per week working onsite in the office and participation in on-call support on a rotation basis. It is ideal for someone with solid hands-on PL/SQL experience who is ready to progress toward a senior role.Job offer informationDesign, develop, and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Write efficient and maintainable SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.Perform performance tuning and query optimization.Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Maintain and enhance existing database code and participate in code reviews.Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with best practices.Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.Document technical specifications and processes.Personality assumptions and skillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling.Proficiency in writing SQL queries and PL/SQL code.Experience with Oracle 12c/19c or later.Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Nice-to-Have Skills:3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.Familiarity with task-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Type of employment:Full Time, Self employmentWorkplace:BratislavaSalary:Basic salary starts at €2.200, however your final salary will depend on fair and deep evaluation of your knowledge & expertise.
