Mid-Level Quality Control EngineerLocation: On-SiteType: Full-TimeAbout the Role:Join the team building Akhdar, a cutting-edge audio/video book platform on Azure. As a Mid-Level QC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our product's quality. You'll execute and contribute to testing strategies across our Flutter mobile app and new NestJS backend, directly ensuring a seamless and reliable experience for our users during this exciting phase of technical transformation.Responsibilities:Contribute to the design and implementation of robust test strategies for both mobile (Flutter) and backend (NestJS) components.Develop and maintain automated test suites to ensure consistent quality across API endpoints, database migrations, and mobile interfaces.Conduct thorough regression testing during the PHP to NestJS backend migration process.Perform meticulous API testing to validate data integrity between the Flutter frontend and new backend services.Collaborate with development teams on quality gates and testing protocols in Azure DevOps pipelines.Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution using industry-standard tools.Validate media streaming functionality and user experience across various devices and network conditions.Requirements:2 to 3 years of quality assurance/testing experience.Solid knowledge of mobile application testing methodologies (Flutter experience is a plus).Experience testing RESTful APIs and backend services.Proficiency in SQL for database validation testing.Working knowledge of test management tools and defect tracking systems.Good analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.Strong communication skills to articulate technical issues clearly.Nice to Have:ISTQB certification (Foundation level).Experience with test automation frameworks (Appium, Selenium, Cypress, or similar).Knowledge of performance and load testing for media streaming applications.Previous experience testing applications during major architecture migrations.
