MiFID Operations Specialist

Built on customer-centric values, we endeavour to provide a professional, 24/7 multi-language customer support to help in a timely manner.As of today, Bybit is one of the most trusted, reliable, and transparent cryptocurrency derivatives platforms in the space.Key Responsibilities:Periodic review of customer classification (retail customer/professional customer/eligible counterparty), including performance of the MiFID appropriateness check.Serve as the back office primary point of contact for MiFID related operational topics of the Bybit EU platform.Liaise with internal departments such as Compliance and Customer Support to facilitate timely and coordinated case handling of MiFID related topics.Monitoring of timely and proper EMIR transaction reportingDaily monitoring of EMIR transaction reports to the transaction register (DTCC), including pairing/matching quotas.Clarification and correction of rejections/unmatched trades; coordination of late registrations and cancellations.Control of UTI and UPI allocation, LEI validity, collateral/valuation notifications and lifecycle events.Preparation of regular management reports, KPI tracking and performance of random checks.Manage the oversight and control of the full lifecycle of regulatory reporting.Oversee the daily PRIIP KID production and ensure proper escalation to ensure its availability and validityOperational monitoring of the process for creating/updating KIDs (schedules, responsibilities, approvals).Checking completeness/formalities (language versions, cost indicators, performance scenarios, SRI) and correct publication/distribution.Tracking regulatory updates (Level 2 RTS) and coordinating implementation with the product/legal department.Maintaining the KID register, including version and validity management.Regular cost control and support for the finance department.Support with audits/inspections (internal, supervisory, auditors).Requirements:Completed commercial or technical school education with a technical affinityA profound knowledge of MiFID II and its implementation in Austria, as well as compliance with regulatory requirements.At least 3 years of professional experience, preferably in compliance at a bank or investment firm.Meticulous attention to detail, with strong organizational and documentation skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.Able to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated environmentThis position is preferably based in Austria, ViennaWhy Join UsAt Bybit, we are committed to fostering a supportive and enriching work environment.Our benefits include:Study Growth Fund: We support your professional development and continuous learning.Internal Events: Participate in regular team-building activities, workshops, and events designed to promote collaboration and innovation.Global Collaboration: Be part of a diverse, international team, working alongside colleagues from around the world.Career Advancement: Access opportunities for growth and advancement within a rapidly expanding global company.Internal Mobility: Grow with us- Your long-term development is important to us.
