Job Title: Mining Analyst Department: Technical & Investment Analysis Reporting To: Executive Chair  Entity: Minestarters FZCO (MST)Location: Hybrid – Faro / Dubai / London / Remote1. Role Summary The Mining Analyst is responsible for the technical and economic evaluation of mining and mineral exploration projects; those submitted to Minestarters and its affiliated entities directly and also the origination of additional ideas and projects through database analysis and networking processes. The role combines geological, engineering, and financial analysis to assess project quality, development potential, and investment viability. The Mining Analyst supports management and the Investment Committee by preparing structured reports, data models, and due diligence summaries that inform investment criteria, tokenization, potential partnership, or investment decisions across the Minestarters ecosystem and related companies such as TerraZar. 2. Key Responsibilities A. Technical Evaluation and Analysis●  Review and interpret geological, geochemical, and geophysical data from exploration through to production.●  Evaluate resource estimates, drilling results, grade/tonnage data, and sampling protocols for reliability and potential.●  Assess mine design, mining methods, metallurgical recovery, and operating cost assumptions.●  Benchmark projects against regional analogues and comparable deposits. B. Economic Assessment●  Build and maintain financial models (cash flow, DCF, sensitivity analysis) integrating CAPEX, OPEX, commodity pricing, and risk factors.●  Evaluate project economics (NPV, IRR, payback period) under multiple market scenarios.●  Contribute to valuation reports used for tokenization and capital allocation.  C. Data Management and Systems●  Structure project data in standard formats for Minestarters’ evaluation database.●   Maintain a central document repository of NI 43-101 / JORC-compliant reports, licenses, and maps.●   Support integration of technical data with the Investment Committee dashboard and MST token platform. D. Due Diligence and Investment Committee Support●    Assist with technical due diligence for project onboarding, earn-ins, or JV assessments.●    Prepare management and Investment Committee memos, including risk summaries and technical ratings.●     Present findings and respond to geological, metallurgical, or operational questions during committee reviews.  E. Market and Sector Research●   Track commodity trends and exploration activity in target jurisdictions.●   Compile comparative datasets for copper, gold, silver, and critical or battery metals.●   Produce short research notes on exploration methods, permitting environments, and sector developments. 3. Qualifications and Experience●    Degree in Mining Engineering, Economic Geology, or Earth Sciences (Master’s    preferred).●    3–8 years of professional experience in exploration or mining project evaluation.●    Strong ability to interpret JORC / NI 43-101 reports and geological data.●    Advanced Excel or Python-based financial modeling skills.●    Experience with GIS or 3D modeling tools (QGIS, Leapfrog, Micromine) preferred.●    Familiarity with ESG principles, permitting, and due diligence in mining.●    Excellent written and verbal English; capable of producing investor-level reports. 4. Reporting and Governance●      Reports to the Chief Operating Officer for workflow and delivery.●      Functionally accountable to management and the Investment Committee for technical quality and recommendations.●      Must adhere to company governance, document control, and reporting standards.  6. Deliverables●      Detailed Project Evaluation Reports for each reviewed project.●      Management and Investment Committee summaries with technical risk ratings and value metrics.●      Updated comparative datasets and valuation models.●      Quarterly sector review or opportunity reports.  7. Compensation Competitive monthly consultancy or employment fee, based on experience. Eligible for performance or token-based bonuses linked to successfully onboarded and funded projects.
