Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mining Engineer role located in Tarime. The Mining Engineer will oversee mine planning, design, and development to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective mining operations. Key responsibilities include conducting feasibility studies, designing and optimizing mining processes, supervising drilling and blasting activities, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. The Mining Engineer will also work closely with geologists, surveyors, and other professionals to maximize resource extraction and operational efficiency. Qualifications Strong expertise in Mine Planning and Mining Engineering.Proficient in Analytical Skills relevant to mining operations and problem-solving.Experience with coal mining processes and coal resource evaluations.Solid understanding of environmental, health, and safety standards in mining.Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.Relevant certifications in mining operations and safety are an added advantage.Strong communication and team collaboration skills for cross-functional operations.
