Mortgage Credit Risk Officer

Job Summary:We are seeking Mortgage Credit Risk Officer to join our Credit & Investment Risk Group. This role focuses on evaluating the quality and performance of the mortgage finance portfolio, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines, and supporting product development and risk analysis.Job Responsibilities:Analyzes and assess the performance of mortgage finance products and portfolios.Supports the design and review of mortgage product policies in coordination with the Mortgage Finance Division.Conducts credit evaluations and financial analysis for mortgage clients before and/or after credit approval.Contributes to updates of credit policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory changes.Prepares reports and recommendations for high-risk or unsatisfactory clients based on internal scoring and policy.Collaborates with internal departments and external entities, including the Central Bank and government agencies, on mortgage-related protocols and compliance matters.Job Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.Additional certifications in mortgage credit risk management are a plus.Minimum 1 year of experience in the banking sector, and preferably 1 year of hands-on experience in mortgage credit risk management.
