Role Overview:We’re expanding our team and looking for a Motion Designer who can bring energy, innovation, and storytelling to our content. If you thrive on creating eye-catching motion graphics and dynamic video edits optimised for social platforms, we want to hear from you.As a Motion Designer, you’ll be responsible for creating engaging, high-quality content that is platform-native and performance-driven. You’ll work closely with our creative team to bring ideas to life, using a mix of animation, typography, video editing, and effects to stop thumbs and drive engagement.Key Responsibilities:Design:Design and animate social-first motion content for TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and YouTube.Work with our creative strategists and copywriters to develop content optimised for performance. Adapting and resizing assets for multiple formats and aspect ratios.Guide the implementation of AI tools across video production to drive innovation, efficiency, and creative excellence.Video Editing for Paid Social Campaigns:Editing of high-quality video content tailored for paid social ads, ensuring videos are optimised for different platforms and audience demographics.Collaborate closely with the media and creative teams to develop video content strategies that drive campaign success.Use performance data and insights to continually refine and optimise video content, ensuring that videos perform well across key metrics such as engagement, view-through rates, and conversion rates.Motion Design/Animation:Create engaging graphic animations, kinetic typography, and visual effects tailored for digital ads and organic content.Edit and enhance video content with dynamic transitions, sound design, and motion graphics.Team and Process Management:The ability to work efficiently to enable quick turnaround times on delivery, when required.Lead the workflow across video production teams, ensuring smooth coordination of tasks and deadlines using project management tools.Innovation and Trends:Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video content, social media formats, and platform-specific specifications to ensure the agency is at the forefront of innovation in paid social video advertising.Experiment with new video formats and storytelling techniques that enhance the effectiveness of campaigns, driving both client satisfaction and audience engagement.Platform Optimisation and Compliance:Ensure that all video content adheres to platform-specific guidelines and best practices, optimising videos for maximum impact across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.Your KPIs:Campaign Effectiveness: Drive high performance in paid social video campaigns, ensuring that key metrics (engagement, click-through rates, and conversions) consistently meet or exceed targets.Innovation and AI Integration: Implement AI-driven solutions to enhance video production and optimise campaign performance.Client Satisfaction: Maintain strong client relationships by delivering compelling, high-quality video content aligned with client goals, leading to sustained client retention.Operational Efficiency: Improve video production timelines and output by effectively managing resources, deadlines, and workflows.Content Optimisation: Use data-driven insights to continually improve video content, ensuring that campaigns are optimised for platform performance and audience engagement.Key Skills and Experience:Proficiency in Video Editing and AI Tools:Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, and experience in using AI tools to enhance production workflows.Leadership and Client Focus:Demonstrated ability to lead creative projects from concept to completion, while ensuring alignment with client objectives.3-5+ Years of Video Editing Experience:Experience in video content creation, with a strong portfolio showcasing paid social media campaigns.Knowledge of platform-specific video formats and specifications for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.Creative Vision and Analytical Mindset:A creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and storytelling, who can use feedback from the data team to improve and refine video content.Positive and Adaptable:A proactive approach with a positive attitude, adaptable to working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.Experience in a Digital or Advertising Agency:Prior experience working in an agency environment is preferred, particularly within the digital marketing or advertising space.Knowledge of Motion Graphics:Experience with motion graphics is a plus, adding further versatility and creativity to the video content produced.Expectations for all Open Partners Employees:Follow our Employee HandbookLive by our valuesSmarter - Aim high, train hard, embrace nextFaster - Learn fast, adapt fast, act fastBetter - Think, say and do what’s best
