Position SummaryAs a Field Service Technician, you will serve as an onsite mobile technician, traveling within your assigned territory under the guidance of the Regional Product Support Manager to troubleshoot and repair equipment, perform retrofits and campaigns, and efficiently manage all computer-based reporting and job logistics, with the goal of exceeding customer expectations while supporting broader company objectives. Assemble, organize, and maintain all required company reports. Communicate openly and professionally with internal and external customers, management, and co-workers. Investigate, identify, and report product issues, including those related to supplier components.
Recommend appropriate courses of action to resolve issues in coordination with relevant departments. Assist with controlled testing of components and installations as directed by Management, TSS, or Engineering. Stay current with training on vehicle systems to deliver top-level OEM support for all coach and vendor components. Identify and suggest improvements to technical bulletins, maintenance materials, and other technical publications. Resolve customer problems or complaints efficiently and in a timely manner to support both customer and company interests. Must be fluent in FrenchMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Certified Technician or equivalent trade professional Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills with technical and diagnostic challenges Proficient with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) systems and troubleshooting Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Experienced using industry-standard diagnostic software such as Cummins Insite, DDDL, Allison DOC, and Wabco Toolbox High-voltage (HV) experience strongly desired, including medium/high voltage equipment, substation, and transmission systems Certification or licensing meeting applicable state and provincial requirements for technician work50% TravelMust have a valid passport
