MS Dynamics D365 - Senior Finance Consultant

Job DescriptionDXC Technology Egypt is looking for a highly experienced Senior Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant to join our Modern Application Development Group. This group leads cutting-edge digital transformation initiatives using the latest technologies to deliver impactful solutions to global clients. As a senior consultant, you will be at the forefront of large-scale implementations, working closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and scalable finance solutions within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem.Responsibilities :_Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Tax, Intercompany, Consolidations, etc.)Conduct end-to-end functional analysis, including fit-gap assessments, requirement gathering, process mapping, and FDD creationTranslate complex business requirements into scalable, high-quality Dynamics 365 Finance solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) that drive business value quicklyOversee system testing, UAT, training, go-live, and post-go-live support for Dynamics 365 Finance implementationsEnsure high-quality solution delivery through adherence to best practices, coding standards, and software development methodologiesSupport integration efforts between D365 and other enterprise systems using tools like AIF, custom services, or external APIsProvide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants and ensure alignment with architectural standardsCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation, including solution design, configurations, and user manualsMaintain strong client relationships through effective communication, problem-solving, and delivering consistent valueContribute to the continuous improvement of team practices, including delivery methodologies and internal frameworksDesired Skills and Qualifications :_7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 or earlier) and D365 Finance implementationsStrong knowledge of financial modules: GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Taxation, Intercompany, Consolidations, Management Reporter, and BankingProven experience in leading full life-cycle implementations of Dynamics 365 Finance, including data migration and third-party integrationsSolid understanding of GAAP, global taxation rules, and multi-company financial consolidation practicesProficient in creating and interpreting functional documentation such as FDDs and business process flowsDemonstrated ability to estimate, scope, and define consulting engagements effectivelyDeep experience with integration frameworks (AIF, Enterprise Portal, Workflows, and reporting)Ability to clearly articulate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level stakeholdersStrong consulting skills and a proven track record of successful client engagementsPrior experience working with Public Sector or international clients (MEA) preferred.
