Role: MS&T Project Manager Location: Dublin Contract: 12-month contract€55-€60 per hourOnsite - North DublinAt Hays Specialist Recruitment we have a great opportunity for an MS&T Project Manager to join our Biopharmaceutical client in Dublin on an initial 12-month contract.The Project Manager will involve providing project management support for the critical complex technical projects with CMO such as complete tech transfer activities, including new stability studies to support expeditious filings and approvals.The Project Manager will also be part of the Manufacturing Sciences and Technology (MS&T) organisation and will support Technical Product Teams (TPT). A TPT is a matrix team organised around a commercial brand with an objective of delivering the brand's CMC & technical strategy. The TPT's cross-functional team spans across Manufacturing Sciences & Technology (MS&T), regulatory, quality, analytical, and supply chain.The successful candidate will support one or more TPTs, and lead projects (with a focus on API, DP & Packaging) and teams to deliver the technical book of work.ResponsibilitiesExecute the TPT's CMC & technical strategy (tech transfer, process improvement, other lifecycle management initiatives):Manage the brand's book of workDrive scenario planning for projects (with a focus on device, packaging & DP)Develop detailed project timelines, resource plans, and chartersCreate and manage project budgetsDeliver on-time project executionIdentify & facilitate resolution of risks and roadblocksBuild and sustain high-performing matrix & project teams:Develop constructive relationshipsOrganise & facilitate effective meetingsBuild team accountability & engagementDeliver leadership engagement & alignment:Communicate program & project status and escalate to deliver the results.Achieve governance endorsementsLeverage standard project management tools (Tableau, Microsoft project, PPM, etc.) & align with established business processes (charters, PMO, etc.)Desired ExperienceEducationBA/BS in a life science, engineering or other technical disciplineExperienceA demonstrated track record of success, accomplishments & delivering resultsA minimum of 4 years of project management experience within the pharmaceutical/biotech industryExperience with Chemistry, Manufacturing & Controls (CMC) and Packaging, Devices and Artwork desirable.Experience operating in a highly matrixed & cross-functional organisation is highly preferred.Contract manufacturing organisation experience is desirable.PMP certification is desirable.Core CompetenciesDemonstrated ability to effectively navigate ambiguity and complexity, and translate it into detailed project plans & on-time project executionDemonstrated aptitude for collaboration, relationship building, and influencing without authority in a matrixed environmentDemonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication, and presentation skillsDemonstrated effective organisational skills to manage a large book of work and competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated proficiency & adaptability with relevant software tools (MS Project, Tableau, Sharepoint, etc.)The role is a site role.Ref:64179If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.Hays Ireland is a trading division of Hays Specialist Recruitment (Ireland) Limited and acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
