We are London’s largest, most successful gas contractor, focusing on long-term contracts with our clients to offer our staff job security and progression opportunities.Purpose of the Role / Role Overview:Follow on from heating installations and complete a range of tasks that include boxing in pipework, tiling, ceiling repairs, making good & painting.To work closely with the Area Manager and admins to provide a variety of assistance to the install engineersTo assist with vertical fluesYour assistance will enable the Installation department to complete planned work and achieve the required operational and customer service performance targets, Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental systems, company procedures and meet legislation requirements.General Duties/Key Responsibilities:To assist with the installation of new boilers where requiredTo help complete vertical flues, adding bracing into the loft and weathering the lead slate into the roofTo build timber boxing under boilers where requiredTo assist with the ASHP installations, building concrete bases, lifting floorboards, and constructing new cupboardsTo attend all calls allocated to you, if delayed report to call handlers so the resident can be made aware of delays.To record accurate logs of work undertaken and materials used, to capture this on the company’s PDA / I.T system.Where any further works are required, you must liaise with the Area Manager/ admin teams and then inform residents of the timescale for completion of the work being undertaken.Be prepared to work flexibly with the possibility of working outside normal working hours depending on the needs of the business Carry out your daily tasks in a helpful and professional approach prioritising customer service.To always keep your allocated company vehicle clean and tidy ensuring any waste is disposed of to company/HSE regulations.Day-to-day self-management of your workload, being responsible for the works you have carried out.To complete this role you must have or be working towards a City & Guild multi trade/building qualification or be able to demonstrate the relevant experience.What We Can Offer YouWe offer a range of benefits designed to support your lifestyle whilst working for Sureserve and outside of work, some of these include:Competitive salary Contributory Pension schemeLife assurance28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays, rising 1 per year of service to a max of 33 daysEnhanced maternity, paternity, adoption leave, and other family friendly policies such as carer’s leave, neonatal leave, IVF, and assisted conception leave.In addition, the role offers:Sureserve Benefits Hub, accessing over 1000’s retail discountsVirtual GP service, 24/7, 365 days, available for employees and your immediate familyEmployee assistance programme (EAP), available 24/7. 365 days, for employees and your immediate familyBike2Work schemeHome & Electronics – salary sacrifice purchase schemeSureserve is an equal opportunities employer, dedicated to nurturing a diverse and inclusive work environment.
