Cineplex is Where Escape Begins.As a Multimedia Designer, you’ll support and grow Canada’s Premier Entertainment brands, including Cineplex, The Rec Room, and Playdium. You will help design campaigns, Ads, emails, in-venue signage and menus for all of our brands. Your work will help Cineplex stand out as a bold Canadian brand at the forefront of entertainment.Plus, did we mention this gig comes with free movies, popcorn and video games? 🍿🎬🕹This is a hybrid position (3 days in-office weekly) based at our Toronto office located at 1303 Yonge St.You will:Contribute to the entire creative process from concept to visualization and execution of campaigns, brand design, and marketing & corporate presentations.Collaborate on ideation during creative brainstorms.Design and develop lead art, mockups and storyboards for various campaigns.Design and create for multiple platforms and media.Assist in preproduction and on-set for various photoshoots, as needed.Provide photo editing, compositing and retouching as required.Assist in the delivery of creative files for print, digital, and distribution as needed.Work with our Creative and Marketing teams under tight timelines.Prepare, upload, publish and deliver final files.Prepare images and assets for online and mobile use.Design and develop Digital Menu Boards using HTML5/CSS and JavaScript.Assist in designing and developing marketing emails using HTML5/CSS.You have:3+ years of industry experience.A post-secondary education with a focus on Design, New Media or Web Design.An amazing portfolio showcasing your best design and animation work.Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite.Advanced proficiency in hand-code HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.Comfortable working with video and animated elements in After Effects.Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer is a plus.Exposure to using the latest tools in Generative AI and Creative.Strong visual design skills, creative thinking and a positive work ethic.The ability to manage multiple projects and meet all necessary deadlines.A great personality, no problem leaving your ego at the door, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment­Core duties and responsibilities of this role, as described herein, may change at any time as business and industry practices dictate.Please include a link to your portfolio on your resume.
