Job Description

Murka is seeking a visionary and data-driven VP of Marketing to lead growth across our mobile and web gaming portfolio, including our new growth channels. This executive role is perfect for a marketing leader with a proven track record in performance marketing, monetization, creative strategy, and team leadership. You’ll manage a multi-disciplinary team across user acquisition, retargeting, creative production, and ad monetization – while closely collaborating with product, CRM, and analytics teams to drive user growth, retention, and revenue at scale.

You bring a hands-on approach with the ability to lead and guide the team professionally, balancing strategic vision with day-to-day execution. You report directly to the CEO, contributing to strategic planning and executive decision-making, and serve as a core member of the company’s management team, helping shape overall business direction and growth. *This position is fully remote and open to applicants worldwide. ResponsibilitiesMarketing Leadership & Team ManagementLead and develop a high-performing marketing department, including: User Acquisition (UA), Retargeting, Ad Monetization, Creative Strategy & ProductionManage team operations, set KPIs, support talent development, and foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and performance.

Own partner communications and relationship management with key marketing, ad network, and monetization partners. Marketing Strategy & ExecutionDefine and execute multi-channel growth strategies across mobile and web platforms, with a focus on LTV, ROAS, and retention. Ensure marketing strategy is embedded early in the product lifecycle to inform positioning, segmentation, creative themes, and channel strategy. Work closely with the Product team to align feature roadmaps and monetization strategies with marketing goals. Partner with CRM and Marketing Analytics to build a holistic view of the player journey - from first ad impression to deep engagement and monetization.

Performance MarketingDrive paid UA strategies across Meta, Google, TikTok, Unity, and other networks with a strong focus on cohort performance and LTV-driven optimization. Set strategic UA goals and priorities, ensuring the Head of UA and team execute campaigns, testing, and funnel optimizations aligned with business objectivesProvide strategic guidance on retargeting initiatives, working closely with the Retargeting Lead & Marketing analytics to drive re-engagement and improve LTV. Ad MonetizationManage and optimize ad monetization performance in close collaboration with the Product and Ad Monetization teams. Oversee waterfall setup, A/B testing, bidding integrations, and yield optimization across key ad networks.

Lead strategic discussions with mediation partners and demand partners to maximize fill rates and ARpDAU. Creative StrategyLead the development and iteration of high-performing ad creatives, from concept to execution. Work with the design team to continuously test visual styles, formats, messages, and engagement tactics aligned to player motivations and market trends. ASO & Organic GrowthLead App Store Optimization (ASO) strategy, including keyword optimization, review/rating management, CPP and localized store asset development. Collaborate on cross-channel organic growth initiatives and lifecycle marketing programs. Qualifications10+ years in mobile or gaming marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing cross-functional teams.

Hands-on experience scaling UA, ad monetization, and creative pipelines across mobile and/or web gaming. Deep understanding of paid marketing, cohort analysis, attribution modeling, and data-driven optimization. Expertise in ad monetization (waterfalls, bidding, yield management). Familiarity with marketing analytics platforms (e. g. , Adjust, Appsflyer, Firebase, GA4). Strong cross-functional collaboration skills – especially with Product, Monetization, CRM, and Data teams. Experience in the Sweepstakes and Real Money Gaming (RMG) space, including growth marketing, player retention, and compliance-aware monetization strategies. Excellent leadership, communication, and project management abilities. Strategic thinker with the willingness to be hands-on and deeply involved in execution.
