People who think differently and connect with those around them to co-create new opportunities and leave a meaningful legacy.Role & ResponsibilitiesElectrical distribution design for mining, data centres, water treatment and battery storage plantsEarthing and lightning protection studies and designMotor starting and protection design.Preparation of the technical content of enquiry documentation typically including a scope description, technical specification, drawings, datasheets and Bills of Quantity (BOQ)Performs complex engineering, design, calculations, analysis and review of design documents when requiredAudits, inspections, factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testingOn site quality inspections and commissioning activities as requiredMinimum Requirements 10 - 15 years’ suitable experience on industrial and/or renewable electrical applications, with electrical/mechatronic tertiary qualificationProfessional registration with ECSA Experience in design and construction supervision ofLV Switchgear and LV plant reticulationMV switchgear, protection and MV plant reticulationLV and MV motor startingEarthing and lightning protectionHarmonics and power qualityDiesel generators and/or SSEG experience advantageous Experience with ETAP and/or DigSilent is preferableA team player that is willing to collaborate across multiple disciplines or design teamsCommitment in resolution of complex issues and knowledge of industry standards.Familiarity with BIM and standardisation of workflows are advantageous We believe that a diverse workforce is key to our business success.
