MySQL HeatWave Solution Engineer (Pre-Sales)

Position: MySQL HeatWave Solution Engineer (Pre-Sales)About the RoleMySQL HeatWave is a next-generation cloud database platform that unifies transaction processing, analytics, and machine learning within a single service. As customer adoption accelerates globally, we are seeking a Solution Engineer (Pre-Sales) who can help customers understand the value of MySQL HeatWave and successfully adopt the platform.This role works closely with sales, product, and customer technical teams, leading technical discovery, architecture design, demonstrations, and Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs).Key ResponsibilitiesLead technical presentations, demos, and workshops for customersDesign and execute PoCs / performance benchmarksAnalyze customer data requirements and deliver optimized solution architecturesRespond to RFPs and provide technical proposal supportArticulate value proposition vs. alternative solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Aurora, etc.)Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure successful adoptionDevelop and share best practices, architecture patterns, and reusable technical assetsCreate and share real-world use cases, whitepapers, and technical contentRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in Database, Data Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Pre-Sales, or Technical ConsultingStrong knowledge of SQL and relational database conceptsExperience presenting technical topics to customers or internal stakeholdersAbility to translate customer requirements into technical solutionsFluent in English (written and verbal)Preferred QualificationsHands-on experience with MySQL or equivalent databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Aurora, RDS)Experience with Cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, GCP, Azure)Familiarity with OLAP / Data Warehousing platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks)Data pipeline / ETL / Data modeling experiencePython-based analytics or machine learning experience is a plusExperience building dashboards or integrating BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)진행 절차: 서류 전형 후에 개별적으로 통보 예정 (1차, 2차 인터뷰 예정)지원 방법: 국문, 영문 이력서를 작성하셔서 채용 담당자 (Hyunsoo.yu@oracle.com)채용 문의: 한국 오라클 채용 담당자 유현수 (Hyunsoo.yu@oracle.com
