Inviting applications for the role of NA RTR Regional Service Leader!The RTR NA Regional Service Management Leader will lead the delivery and transformation of Record-to-Report services across the North America region within the Global Business Services (GBS) organization. Reporting to the Global RTR Service Owner and dotted line to the Regional CFO, this role is responsible for:Service Delivery Management: Defining and overseeing the RTR service framework, performance metrics, controls, and standards to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Transformation Leadership: Driving continuous improvement and shaping the RTR transformation roadmap aligned with global and regional finance strategies.Strategic Collaboration: Partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance process efficiency, system capabilities, and operational excellence.Compliance & Governance: Ensuring adherence to internal and external standards and supporting audit readiness.Leadership & Change Management: Acting as a key member of the Regional Finance Leadership Team, leading change initiatives and capability building across the RTR function.Key Responsibilities:Service Management:Accountable for regional service delivery for RTR NA Region, any co-mingled scope across internal teams and outsourced teams (BPO) ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Assure service quality and drive performance to SLAs.Provides strategic leadership in audits process, and identification and mitigation within the RtR NA Region processesOversee accurate reconciliation of accounts and ensure proper consolidation of financial data across global entities, adhering to transfer pricing policies.Ensure efficient month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting while resolving any issues that arise.Support the implementation and enhancement of financial systems to support RtR processes, ensuring data integrity and providing user training for effective system utilization.Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making of the regional headquarters by providing to its senior leadership accurate financial data, conducting scenario analysis, and participating in cross-functional projects as requested.Continuous improvement management:Create culture of continuous improvement and serve as champion and strategic advisory to teams on opportunity identification, design, and issue resolution with respect to RTR matters. Actively drives stakeholder alignment and resourcing to support teams.Drive continuous improvement with our outsourced stakeholders in RTR processes/sub-processesCollects and manages operations pain points to drive process improvementIdentifies opportunities to standardize and improve operational processesConducts ad hoc projects and unusual or complex assignments, supporting multiple projects in a time sensitive environment.Transformation roadmapProvide relevant RTR input into tech & process standardization roadmap and requirementsLead talent, change management and engagement projects involving North AmericaGovernance & Stakeholder management Align with cross-functional partners in region across function, GBS, businessAlign with Finance function (Tax, Treasury, Controllership, etc) to ensure end to end Finance coordinationRepresent RTR at global and regional forums and provide relevant input into global approaches for both operations and transformation roadmapTalent and Change Leadership Motivate team during period of significant change with strong communication around visionProvide input to global/regional talent strategies set by global or regional headquarter’s leaders and help implement strategies within regional RTR team to support associate learning and developmentKey Decision Rights:Qualify opportunities to standardize processes and documentationInput and approval of regional roadmap and strategy for RTR process design as part of global approachInput to regional talent strategy and change/mgmt. engagement approachIdentify and qualify areas for optimization and process improvement for RTR process areas within regional scopeQualifications we seek in you!Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.A professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent.Extensive experience in regional Record to Report processes including previous experience in leadership roles.Understanding of financial reporting requirements and standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).Proven track record of progressive experience in accounting, with several years in managerial or leadership positions.Ability to drive collaboration with senior leadersAbility to influence people at all levels locally, regionally, and globallyDeep end-to-end process knowledge of Record to ReportA global, customer-first mindset with strong business acumen.Excellent leadership skills, with a track record of managing and inspiring teams.A collaborative, can-do mentality, with the ability to drive change management initiatives.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Advanced English level (C1)Why join Genpact?
