Job Description

The National Head - Pre Owned Vehicles is responsible for overseeing and driving the strategy, operations, and performance of the pre-owned vehicle business across all dealership locations nationwide. This role ensures the growth and profitability of the used car segment by managing inventory acquisition, pricing, marketing, sales, and customer satisfaction while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with company and regulatory policies. This role covers the retail and trade programs for all pre-owned vehiclesRESPONSIBILITIESStrategicDevelop and execute national sales strategies to achieve targets across all channels.Oversee inventory sourcing, mix, and quality to ensure optimal stock levels and standards.Analyze market data and competitor activity to set dynamic, competitive pricing strategies.Lead and coordinate with regional branches to align strategies and enhance sales effectiveness.Drive national marketing campaigns and promotions to generate leads and brand awareness.Ensure high customer satisfaction by upholding service quality and resolving escalated issues.Guarantee compliance with all regulations and deliver detailed performance reports to management.Lead, coach, and develop the national team to foster a high-performance, customer-centric culture.OperationalSales & Pipeline Management: Monitor daily sales activities, track leads, and manage the sales pipeline to achieve targets.Inventory & Vehicle Readiness: Oversee stock levels, coordinate with service teams for vehicle preparation, and ensure timely quality approval.Pricing & Promotions: Implement dynamic pricing strategies and coordinate with marketing for effective vehicle display and promotions.Team Leadership & Coaching: Assign daily targets, conduct briefings, and coach the sales team to improve performance and motivation.Customer Service Excellence: Oversee the customer journey from inquiry to delivery and resolve escalations or complaints.Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with marketing, finance, and after-sales teams to ensure seamless sales transactions.Documentation & Compliance: Ensure accurate processing of all sales documents and adherence to regulatory and company policies.Reporting & Quality Control: Maintain accurate records, prepare sales reports, and oversee vehicle quality certification processes.People ManagementLead & Motivate the Team: Directly supervise, set targets, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals.Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Manage the full hiring cycle—from interviewing to onboarding—to build a skilled and knowledgeable team.Drive Performance & Development: Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and implement training to close skill gaps and foster growth.Foster a Cohesive Environment: Resolve conflicts promptly and cultivate a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.Oversee Operations & Planning: Manage team scheduling, ensure clear communication across departments, and adjust staffing to meet business demands.Product/Process ImprovementOptimize Sales & Operations: Analyze and refine the sales process, from lead management to deal closure, to increase conversion rates and efficiency.Enhance Inventory & Pricing Strategy: Improve vehicle sourcing and stocking to optimize turnover and develop dynamic pricing models for profitability.Elevate Customer Experience: Implement improvements based on customer feedback and introduce new engagement initiatives to boost satisfaction.Leverage Technology & Marketing: Identify and deploy new tech solutions to streamline processes and collaborate on innovative, targeted marketing campaigns.Drive Cross-Functional Initiatives: Lead collaboration with other departments to ensure smooth operations and remove barriers to sales.QUALIFICATIONSEducation & Certifications:PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree.Knowledge & SkillIn-depth knowledge of the Saudi market, including pricing trends, vehicle valuation, and regulatory standards.Proven skill in complex sales cycles, negotiation, and building lasting customer relationships.Strong ability to lead, coach, and motivate a sales team to foster a high-performance culture.Solid understanding of inventory management, pricing strategies, and proficiency with DMS/CRM systems.An analytical mindset to interpret data, spot trends, and develop effective sales and process strategies.Excellent communication skills in English, with Arabic proficiency a strong advantage, for all stakeholder levels.Comfort with digital sales tools and a strong commitment to leveraging technology to enhance customer service and satisfaction.ExperiencePREFERRED: 8 to 10+ years of experience in automotive sales, with a strong focus on pre-owned or used vehicle sales. Proven track record of successfully managing and growing pre-owned vehicle sales within a dealership or multi-location environment.MINIMUM: 8 to 10 years of experience in automotive sales, with a strong focus on pre-owned or used vehicle sales.
