Job Title: Natural Gas Broker (US Markets)Location: USA (multiple office locations)Imperium Commodity Search is exclusively retained by one of the worlds largest Energy & Commodities Brokerages, seeking to further build their natural gas team around a seasoned desk head. With a refreshed global growth appetite and a new management team, our client is seeking experienced gas/natural gas brokers who wish to take more ownership of their book across gas derivatives execution.The firm provides broking and high quality, value-added execution services for Swaps, Forwards, Physical Oil, Refined Petroleum Products, Futures Contracts and Renewables.Responsibilities:On-boarding and building a book of clients in natural gas, both hedging and speculators, for execution across both paper (futures, options, swaps) and physical marketsProviding rapid, accurate and timely execution services to natural gas traders, funds, CTAs, refineries, majors etc.Working with internal teams on capabilities in advisory and execution services across the energy sectorKeeping on top of market news/colour to distribute updates to natural gas counterpartiesAggressively grow the natural gas book across the United States through business development and client relationship managementExperience:3+ years experience in natural gas derivatives or physical brokerage marketsExcellent knowledge of the energy markets within your niche (natural gas, LPG, NGLs etc.)Proven track record managing trade execution for multiple client types across the gas markets, with a thorough knowledge of futures, options or swaps businessTransferable contacts/counterparties across trading houses, majors, funds, institutional clients, market makers etc.Strong commercial focus with excellent communication skillsTo apply for this position, please use the form below or contact Zuzana Zvolenska to arrange a confidential discussion with the managing consultants – Zuzana.zvolenska@imperiumcs.com.All applications and expressions of interest in this vacancy are in the strictest of confidence.
