Job Description

Regional Manager About the Role As the Regional Manager for Bangladesh, you'll be the market expert and territory owner, responsible for driving the recruitment of international students to our university partners. Reporting to the Regional Director, you'll provide strategic market and account management advice and execute a robust marketing plan to achieve our goals. You'll be the face of our organization in Bangladesh, working closely with in-country staff, university marketing and admissions teams, and other key partners.

This role requires a practical knowledge of sales and marketing within the international education environment, with a strong focus on student recruitment through agent networks, direct engagement with schools, and executing direct sales strategies. We are looking for a natural leader who represents a corporate culture of inclusion, collaboration, positivity, and high performance. Key Responsibilities International Student Recruitment & Sales LeadershipContribute to annual targets for student recruitment, sustainable account performance, revenue growth, and ROI. Support recruitment fairs and engage with prospective students, families, and partners to generate leads.

Market Expansion & Relationship DevelopmentMap and manage relationships with key accounts and government bodies (e. g. , consulates and embassies). Work with the Regional Director to manage agency relationships and accounts. Identify new market opportunities, trends, and recruitment channels to expand our presence in the region. Strategic Planning & Performance MonitoringProvide expert market insights and data to help the Regional Director and other stakeholders with business case development for investment decisions. Monitor and report on recruitment performance, tracking metrics like application and conversion rates.

Events & OutreachPlan and execute recruitment events in collaboration with partners, including student fairs, webinars, workshops, and high school visits. Work with our marketing team to develop region-specific content, digital campaigns, and promotional materials. Reporting & Budget ManagementProvide regular updates to the Regional Director on market conditions and performance against targets. Manage the regional recruitment budget and ensure resources are allocated effectively for maximum ROI. Track and analyze recruitment data, identifying trends and adjusting strategies to meet enrolment targets. Compliance & Ethical StandardsDrive strategic account management best practices and ensure all recruitment activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and ExperienceA degree in Education, International Relations, Business, or a related field. Proven experience in international student recruitment, sales, or higher education, with a strong understanding of the international education market. Experience managing a team, working with recruitment agents, or leading regional recruitment efforts. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Proficiency in analyzing data and adjusting strategies accordingly. Willingness to travel frequently for recruitment events, fairs, and institution visits. Personal AttributesResults-driven with a clear focus on meeting recruitment and enrolment targets.
