We currently have a great opportunity for the position of Accounts Payable Specialist based at our Suva Head office who will be responsible for Processing of payments, Data Entry / Daily payment / Monthly accounts payments.
The Accounts Payable Specialist/Officer will report to Accounts Payable Supervisor. Job DescriptionKeeping track of all payments and expenditures for approved purchase orders, invoices and monthly statements. Do data entry for monthly invoices, Petty cash and Manual chequesFile all posted invoices accordinglyFollow up Outstanding invoices and PO from departmentsReconcile Creditors weekly/monthly payments with statements. Forward Reconciliation for payment approval to Team LeaderGenerate Remittance Advice for paid invoices and forward it to suppliers.
Monitor AP emailsProcess daily payments for Shipping lines, traveling charges and LTAFile all monthly and daily payments in organized mannerAssist in attending AP queriesDo any other jobs assigned by my Supervisors & ManagersQualificationsDiploma in Accounting or equivalent3 to 4 years’ experience in Finance or similar roleExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsHigh level of integrity and work ethics; strong attention to detailPro-active team playerHighly skilled with technology and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft suiteAdditional InformationCompetitive benefits package (salary plus bonus).
