You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable software applications using the .NET framework. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and direct interaction with customers to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business goals.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain software components using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)Write clean, scalable, and testable code following best practicesParticipate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and supportDebug and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliabilityCollaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and deliver new featuresEngage in direct communication with customers to understand requirements and provide technical guidanceDocument software specifications and maintain technical documentationConduct code reviewsWhat We Are Looking For5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET technologiesProficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, and .NET CoreStrong understanding of software architecture principles and system design, with the ability to structure scalable, maintainable, and efficient solutionsBe open to working with Java / other technologies when needed, especially in cross-functional or legacy system contextsExperience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and ORM tools like Entity FrameworkExperience with RESTful APIsExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git)Strong communication skills and ability to work cooperatively in cross-functional teams and with customersProficiency in spoken and written German is a strong advantageWhy XempusJoin one of the leading insurtechs in Europe as it enters its next growth phase Find creative freedom and quick decision-making structures in a dynamic, innovative environment  Opportunity to participate in one of the most generous employee stock option programs in the industry Very attractive contribution to the company pension schemeCorporate health insurance (600€ reimbursement of various medical and pharmacy costs per year)Work with a team of amazing colleagues with great team spirit (company parties, charity events e.g.) Have the option of hybrid working - for family friendliness and maximum flexibility in your everyday life.
