Network Architect – Data Centre & WAN

• Skills Required:The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience with a Financial Ser-vices Firm, Technology vendor or systems integrator designing, and implementing large scale networks1. Ethernet technologies: SPT, 802.1Q, VPC, Multilayer Switching; Leaf-Spine IP Fabric2. IP Routing: RIP, OSPF, BGP, MPBGP, TCP/IP3. Multicast routing: PIM, IGMP, MSDP. VxLAN4. Platform knowledge on Cisco Switching & Routing Platforms -Nexus 9000 Series Data Centre Switching Platform- ASR 1000x Series Routers- ASR 9000 Series Routers5. Platform Knowledge on Arista Switching platforms6. Working knowledge on various Network Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NXOS, IOS-XR, Arista EOS7. Certifications: CCIE or equivalent• Experience Required:The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience with a Financial Services Firm, Technology vendor or systems integrator designing, and implementing large scale networks. Strong experience and hands-on candidate in Data Center Networking (Routing and Switching), SD WAN is mandatory with Cisco certification- CCIE• Roles and Responsibilities:• The engineer will be responsible for evaluating, engineering, designing, and troubleshooting enterprise scale Data Centre networks.• The candidate will be responsible for• Authoring of design documents, engineering standards and creating best practice technical architecture models utilizing knowledge of industry and technical trends• Mentoring and knowledge transfer to team members across the organization.• Participating in the weekly design meetings• Engaging with project managers to develop the execution and test plans for network changes.• Serve as an escalation for the operating teams during network outages.• Ability to work both independently and as a team member is essential.• Strong presentation skills are imperative to be able to explain network design, articu-late risk, and facilitate decision making.• Strong security focus and experience with Network Security Concepts and Multi-tier Security architectures.
