Recognized on the Inc 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list for 9 years running, we are committed to expanding our teams cross-functionally and globally.Network Optix aims to power the world’s most intelligent video solutions, with the ultimate goal of carving a path toward revolutionizing the landscape of video technology and transforming how we perceive the world around us.As a Senior Network Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain server and network systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with company standards and adapt to evolving technical environments.If this sounds interesting, please apply!What You’ll Be DoingLeading the company’s Network and IT Systems design and architectureEstablishing company-wide processes for server installation, configuration, maintenance, backups, and recoveryMaintaining applications and services provided by the IT teamDesigning, installing, and maintaining virtual environments across the company in a high-availability setupDesigning, installing, configuring, and maintaining company-wide network infrastructure and equipmentIdentifying, tracking, and resolving issues in the corporate issue tracking systemConfiguring and maintaining network and server monitoring systemsProviding prompt and effective responses to technology-related issuesBeing available to work occasionally after hours or on weekends to support company or IT projectsResolving user issues related to the server and network environmentWhat We’re Looking ForExperienceMinimum 8 years hands-on experience in a corporate IT environment, including both server/network systems and direct end-user supportExtensive experience with Linux, Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and Mac devices operating in this environmentExperience with cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other cloud environmentsExperience designing and managing networks where video or similar high bandwidth consumption traffic is usedExperience working in a software development company (preferred)Technical skillsAbility to effectively troubleshoot and support Linux, Mac iOS and Microsoft Windows ServerAbility to manage and deploy Linux/Unix systemsAbility to install, configure, set network for, and maintain virtual serversAbility to configure and manage enterprise-class switches, routers, and wireless access points (MikroTik strongly preferred)Ability to configure and maintain Storage Area Networks in an enterprise environmentAbility to identify and resolve complex technical issues with minimal supervision or guidanceProficiency with service desk tools such as Jira, Service Now, or other common toolsProficiency supporting common company IT services and office productivity tools (Google Workplace preferred)KnowledgeAdvanced knowledge of server and network system operation in an enterprise environmentWhat we offerCompetitive compensationPaid time offFlexible working hoursHybrid work in our brand-new, comfortable office located in BelgradeEmployer-sponsored health coverageWorking with top industry experts in our international teamPlease note: We do not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters or staffing agencies.
