We combine people, processes, and technology to actively secure, protect and improve the operations of our clients’ people, property, and assets.Overview: As a Network Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our technical support operations, working to ensure the security and integrity of our digital infrastructure. You will monitor our systems, identify system faults, detect potential threats, and assist in incident response, playing a pivotal role in maintaining our networking infrastructure and safeguarding our technological ecosystem.Position: Network EngineerLocation: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. All candidates must currently reside within a commutable distance to Robinson, PA.Travel: Travel as needed by clients or accessibility of issue. All employees traveling for Edgeworth must have TSA-approved identification.Job Type: Full-timeBenefitsPaid Time Off (PTO)Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and certification.Collaborative and innovative work environment.Essential Job Function And ResponsibilitiesInvestigate and troubleshoot networking, security equipment, and operating system errorsMonitor traffic, security alerts, and event logs to detect suspicious or anomalous activitiesProvides post-sales, on-site, and potentially on-call supportSet up and configure equipment in best practices and standardsDesign and implement secure and scalable wired and wireless networksUtilize tools to investigate and categorize events based on their severity/impactProviding real-time troubleshooting and consultation as technical contact for clientsAnalyze alerts and reports to identify potential incidents and vulnerabilitiesPrepare and maintain detailed reports, documentation, and notation of actions performedCollaborate to Identify opportunities to enhance monitoring and response processesTrain junior network technicians, helpdesk, and participate in standards developmentConduct site surveys and develop remediation plans for network optimizationContributes to the development of playbooks, procedures, training, and documentationTechnical Knowledge & SkillsThis candidate will be expected to diagnose and resolve technical issues across a variety of hardware, software, and networking topics including but not limited to:Windows & Linux Operating SystemsSecurity Applications (SentinelOne, Ironscales, Sublime, etc)Network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.)Networking and configurations (Switching, routing, firewalls)Mobile Device Management administrationScripting knowledge and syntax (Python, PowerShell, Cisco iOS, Perl)Identity Provider/Multi-Factor Authentication (Duo Security, Entra ID, Okta)We look forward to the possibility of you joining our team.Employees are our greatest asset.
