Mertens – MalamTeam is hiring a Communication & Information Security Specialist for a leading healthcare organizationRole Overview:A hands-on technical position responsible for managing and supporting the organization’s network infrastructure. The role includes installation, configuration, and maintenance of wired and wireless networks, performing site surveys, creating installation diagrams, and deploying communication equipment. It also involves ongoing maintenance and upgrades, working with vendors, managing firewalls, implementing security policies, and providing on-site support.Key Responsibilities:Operation, installation, and maintenance of enterprise communication networks.Support and administration of wired and wireless infrastructures.Deployment of network equipment according to technical specifications.System upgrades, version updates, and coordination with external vendors.Firewall management and implementation of security standards.On-site technical support and documentation.Requirements:Relevant education: communication/network technician certification (CCNP – advantage).At least 5 years of experience with communication networks, switches, and firewalls, including endpoint installation – must.In-depth expertise with Cisco switches and Software-Defined Access (SDA) – must.Hands-on experience with Cisco wireless solutions.Experience with Cisco ISE (NAC) – advantage.
