Network Specialist – CCIE (Network IT Multiplex Project)Area: Cloud & Network (MinAm)Project: IT Multiplex Network – Definition PhaseLocation: Santiago (hybrid modality) with occasional trips to the mining site in the Antofagasta regionPurpose of the PositionLead the analysis and design of network solutions for a complex and mission-critical infrastructure, guaranteeing high availability, security, performance and scalability during the Definition phase of the IT Multiplex Network project, ensuring the operational continuity of the assets.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze problems and design advanced routing, switching, and security solutions in the short and long termIntegrate emerging technologies: SDN, automation and Cloud, proposing standards and technological roadmapPerform detailed analysis of the infrastructure (hardware and software) and its compatibility with IEEE/IETF standards, documenting designs, configurations and procedures.Develop solution designs and implement plans for changes for the IT network, maintaining configurations in accordance with mining client standardsLead POCs and migrations, propose improvements/optimization and promote communications projects on sites.Execute quality control on solutions in transition to operation.Collaborate remotely and in person in Santiago when required.Position RequirementsTraining and CertificationsCurrent Cisco CCIE (Expert Level) certification. 15+ years of network experience; mining process experience desirable.Technical KnowledgeAdvanced protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP, MPLS, EVPN/VXLAN.Security experience; exposure to Checkpoint and F5 desirable.Knowledge of SD-WAN and DWDM ( preliminary analysis capability) networks.Automation practices, technical documentation and configuration governanceSoft SkillsTeamwork, collaboration, effective communication and technical leadership with a strong orientation to results.Operational Conditions and RequirementsHybrid modality (remote + Santiago offices as needed).Trips to site: consider 1 trip per month (refundable expense).Medical examinations for work at geographical height and accreditation of entry to mining sites.Guidelines for feeding at site in accordance with "Company Contributions" (control of overconsumption)To apply share your English profile only with monthly Net Salary Expectations
