The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center networking, with hands-on experience in network design, configuration, migration, and troubleshooting.This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned L2 network engineer who can manage both the technical and coordination aspects of large-scale network operations and modernization projects.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and administer network infrastructure, including planning, design, and implementation.Perform installation, configuration, and connectivity of network devices (Extreme and Cisco).Configure and troubleshoot Extreme and Cisco switches using CLI and NMS.Provide L2-level troubleshooting for LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments.Participate in network migration and hardware refresh activities.Collaborate with project managers to coordinate network connectivity during M&A and site transformation projects.Work hands-on with Extreme Network Products & Fabrics for site redesign and modernization.Ensure scalability, performance, and security across enterprise network environments.Prepare and maintain technical documentation and network topology diagrams.Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.Ideal Candidate ProfileExperience: Minimum 10 years in network design, configuration, and implementation.Specialization: Strong expertise in Extreme Networks and Cisco environments (mandatory).Technical Expertise:LAN, WAN, WLAN design and troubleshootingFabric Connect, VXLAN, and network virtualizationNAC, VLAN, dynamic routing, and stacking configurationsMigration Experience: Hands-on experience in network migration and transformation projects.Certifications:CCNP or higher (mandatory)Extreme Networks certification preferredITIL foundation knowledge is an advantage.Additional InformationContract Duration: Long TermStart Date: ImmediateLocation: Stuttgart, GermanyWork Mode: OnsiteVisa/Work Authorization: Candidates must have valid work authorization to work in Germany.Why Join Us?Work on cutting-edge Extreme and Cisco technologies in a global enterprise environment.Opportunity to lead large-scale migration and modernization projects.Collaborate with cross-functional IT and infrastructure teams across Europe.Competitive compensation and a long-term engagement.
