The New Business Specialist is responsible for daily management of inbound and outbound calls, campaign and event leads in a specified territory, focusing on technology solution selling. In addition to call activities, this job requires driving results and a high level of contribution in providing qualified opportunities to the sales team supported in order to meet/exceed daily, monthly and yearly set quotas. All activities and Opportunities are required to be logged into the SalesForce.com CRM System, along with a concise detailed description of the prospect’s needs, shop profile, and the pending sale opportunity to be submitted to EFI’s sales executives.What You Will DoPersonally represent EFI in a professional manner to its customers and prospectsDevelop a basic, and over a short time more thorough, understanding of the EFI products and value propositionEffectively hold a telephone conversation with a prospect in a relaxed, casual, and consultative manner in which you are able to explain the value of EFI's solutionsKeep accurate logs of the calls and emails using SalesForce.com, along with supplying any type of additional documentation requested by the department manager, necessary for accurate record keeping and analysisDevelop a basic understanding of the printing industry and the product/services this market provides at the level of both a traditional and all digital printing companyDevelop a thorough working knowledge of SalesForce.com Contact Management SystemMaintain and exceed the call quotas as measured on a daily/monthly/annual basisMaintain and exceed the sales opportunity creation quotas as measured on a monthly/annual basisTake personal responsibility for the rapid resolution of prospect requests and call backs, and escalate to manager when needed.Self-motivated to scan the trade journals for people quoted, companies highlighted, and new products installed and research these for lead potential This role may be a good fit if you have:2-3 years of sales experience with proven track record of successful sales performance; preferably in high value capital goods and services and / or (Digital) printing marketsAbility to leverage relations and (y)our knowledge of the accountsHighly dynamic and motivated professional with excellent presentation, communications and interpersonal skillsPro-activeness and autonomousAbility to develop business contacts and relationships at all levels of an organization both internal and externalKnowledge and understanding of the market trendsGraphic Arts / printing industry experience is a plusExcellent verbal and written command is essential for this position  Hands-on mentality with strong communication skillsAble to think ‘outside the box’Flexible     Results drivenThe total compensation for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.$75,000-$100,000The successful candidate's total compensation will fall within the pay range listed above and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Compensation is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
