Job title: Associate Product ManagerLocation: Noon Egypt, New Cairo Reporting to: Product ManagerAbout noon noon, the region's leading consumer commerce platform. On December 12th, 2017, Noon launched its consumer platform in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, expanding to Egypt in February 2019. The noon ecosystem of services now includes marketplaces for food delivery, quick-commerce, fintech, and fashion. Noon is a work in progress; we’re six years in, but only 5% done. It involves the strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement of products to meet and exceed customer needs, drive growth, and sustain competitive advantage. As a Product Manager, you will navigate through complex challenges, leveraging your technical background, analytical skills, and customer insights to deliver solutions that truly make a difference. Key Responsibilities: Discovery process: engage continuously with users, stakeholders, designers, and engineering colleagues to discover and develop solutions that deliver significant product and business impact.

Your goal is to create solutions that are valuable to users, usable in design, feasible from an engineering perspective, and viable for the business. Requirements and features development: gather and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and your team to define requirements, features, and end products that align with noon’s vision and goals. Technical knowledge: maintain a strong passion for technology, with knowledge in SQL, HTML/CSS, APIs, and understanding of your domain's architecture. Be familiar with the differences between backend and frontend technologies. User experience:

work collaboratively with product designers to deliver intuitive and valuable customer experiences, understanding and contributing to UX practices. Documentation: write clear product requirement documents (PRDs) and user stories, ensuring all documentation is up to date and serves as a reliable source of information. Analytical: identify and understand the key user metrics and business KPIs of your domain. Build dashboards to monitor these KPIs and make data-backed decisions. Data-driven decision making: champion a data-driven approach to product development by leveraging both qualitative and quantitative research methods to uncover and address customer needs effectively. Performance tracking:

define key performance indicators (KPIs) for user-facing commerce experiences, platforms, and services. Ensure accurate instrumentation for tracking progress against these goals, enabling informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Execution excellence: demonstrate outstanding capabilities in specifications, planning, development, reflection, measuring, learning, and communication. Your ability to execute flawlessly will be paramount. Rollout strategy: independently ship features and demonstrate their measured impact with minimal guidance. Develop rollout plans based on stakeholder input, ensuring all parties are aware of their roles and responsibilities. Coordinate with stakeholders throughout the rollout process and create necessary training materials or SOPs. Support engagement:

be hands-on with support to gain insights into product usage and identify areas for improvement. Maintain an overview of your team/domain support SLAs. Commercial acumen: understand the commercial objectives of your domain and how it fits within the wider context of noon. Recognize the importance of aligning product solutions with business goals. Cross-functional collaboration: work alongside the growth, engineering, creative, and design teams to transform the product vision into tangible prototypes and mockups, ensuring that every product or feature launched exceeds user expectations. Agile team leadership:

lead a cross-functional agile team, including engineers, product designers, and application support personnel, to deliver exceptional customer experiences that set the standard in the industry. Road mapping: collaborate with senior PMs to prioritize product decisions and manage the product roadmap with varying degrees of confidence over different time frames. Product strategy and evangelism: contribute to the long-term direction and strategy of the product, inspiring stakeholders and customers with the vision of the future. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science or a similar field. Passion for product management:

Show a deep understanding of the product development lifecycle and agile methodologies through studies, internships, or personal projects. Independent and self-directed: Navigate complex projects independently, showcasing problem-solving skills and ownership. Communication and influence: Possess exceptional skills in leading through influence and communicating technical issues to diverse audiences. Technical proficiency: Engage with technical aspects of product development, including analytics dashboards and understanding front-end tweaks. Bias for action: Favor action over inaction, learning by doing in the face of uncertainty. Taking initiative: Anticipate needs, think ahead, and take on work proactively. Resourcefulness:

Identify what you need and actively seek answers, especially in a dynamic environment like Noon. Influence: Excel in persuading and guiding stakeholders and colleagues across disciplines from the start. Learning / growth mindset: Embrace constant learning and view setbacks as growth opportunities. Judgement / intuition: Make informed decisions and back them with rationale. Courage: Undertake new challenges and accept the risk of failure that comes with innovation. High agency: Overcome obstacles to achieve your objectives.
