Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Operational Engineering team with immediate effect. Operational Engineering is responsible for all challenges and optimizations that arise during the entire value chain of the turbine and where engineering support is required.

Your TasksGeneralist in mechanical related developments and challengesSupporting the technology management in operation related issues (focus on 8D method)Root cause analysis - development of repair solutions and improvement actionsAssessment of existing damages and development of operation strategies to reduce standstill times and increase availabilityDevelopment and implementation of changes in existing and upcoming turbine generationsTesting and validation of new and retrofit solutions, both in the field and in in-house testing facilityYour ProfileDegree in Mechanical Engineering or similarFirst experience in an international industrial environment, preferably in the wind industryAbility to work in teams and have a close relationship with other departmentsTechnical knowledge about wind turbine (focus on mechanical parts)Technical knowledge about wind turbinesKnowledge in Siemens NX and Teamcenter would be a plusHigh level of English skills, German and/or Spanish are a plusWillingness to travel for business purpose (30% out of office)Your BenefitsIn addition to the opportunity to make our world a little more sustainable, we offer you:
