Read on and apply today!Your new roleWe are looking for a Senior Network Architect to work within Novo Nordisk’s Global Information Security (GIS) Department.
As Senior Network Architect, you will be working with designing and implementing security solutions that meet the needs of our organization. You will work closely with our engineering and security teams to ensure that our network infrastructure is secure. Your responsibilities are to: Provide security architecture guidance for network projects and develop security policies to ensure compliance with industry standards. Advise on and develop new security features for Novo Nordisk, collaborating with operational teams. Plan and implement different security initiatives, align with stakeholders, minimize business impact, and manage structured enrolments.
Handle support tickets, driving changes toward best practices with a focus on security. Monitor tooling, logs, data, and investigate malicious events or incidents; optimize processes via automation and management tools. Design solutions leveraging SaaS, IaaS, SASE concepts. Stay updated on emerging security threats; recommend tools and technologies to enhance network security. Your new departmentThe Global Information Security (GIS) Department is mandated to secure Novo Nordisk IT landscape. You will be employed in Global Security Operations that consists of teams in Denmark, USA and India.

Your Skills & QualificationsTo succeed in this role, we expect you to bring: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, cybersecurity, or computer-related fields, with fluency in written and spoken English. Experience with operating network technologies such as firewalls, routers, SD-WAN, VPN devices, and Cisco ISE.
Strong understanding of network security best practices and Zero Trust principles, with knowledge of Event-Driven Infrastructure. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, preferably with coding experience, and ability to architect secure traditional and cloud network services. Relevant certifications in cloud architecture, network security, or general security topics are a plus; experience with zero trust architecture is desirable. We have a strong focus on collaboration, we are curious, and we are embracing new ideas on how to deliver projects successfully.
