Nuclear Medicine Tech

DutiesPerform PETCT and NUC MED procedures using Siemens PETCT machine and E-CAM/Orbiter NUC MED machines. Conduct a variety of scans and treatments, including MIBG, OCTRETIDE, THYROID UPTAKE AND SCAN, RENOGRAM, BONE SCANS, and more. Work with adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, maintaining a daily census of 8. Float between the outpatient center and hospital as required. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and assist in patient diagnoses. SkillsExperience with Epic charting system preferred. Proficient in a range of nuclear medicine procedures, including Bone Scan, Ventricular Myocardial, Pharmacological Stress SPECT, and more. Ability to draw venous blood and start/maintain IVs. Familiarity with GE and Siemens equipment preferred. Additional skills in ER, PET/CT, Adult ICU, Phlebotomy, PACS, and Contrast are advantageous. ExperienceMinimum of 1 year experience in a similar role. Certifications required: BLS, ARRT or NMTCB, California State license. Experience in teaching and community hospitals preferred. Travel experience not required. Ability to work with students and provide educational support is a plus.
