O&M Operator

We are a developer, investor, and operator of power generation and desalinated water plants, with 90 assets in operation, construction, or advanced development across 13 countries.Roles & Responsibilities1 Comply with safety rules and regulations. Be familiar with the fire equipments in his area. Follow the instructions of the Shift Supervisor/Shift Engineer and Senior O&M Operator.2 Coordinate with the Shift Supervisor/Shift Engineer and with other Operators in regard to all activities that affect them. Monitor all parameters and enter periodic readings on log sheets. Summarize all activities/events that took place during his shift in the log book.3 Inspect the area and auxiliaries during the shift to make sure that all equipment parameters are within limits. Report abnormalities to the Senior O&M Operator and Shift Supervisor/Shift Engineer.4 Perform equipment change over according to preset schedules. Raise work requests or defect notes for faulty equipment.5 Coordinate with Shift Supervisor/Shift Engineer for isolating and lining up the equipments and system before and after maintenance. Maintain a tidy work area and ensure clean up after maintenance work.6 Assist in the training and familiarization of new local desalination operators.7 Follow standard procedures8 Use proper PPEs and implement prescribed risk controls9 Report deviations in Quality, Health and safety management system10 Report emergencies and near misses11 Ensure proper waste disposal measures12 Perform other duties as assigned Committed to creating a culture that is as diverse AND vibrant as the markets we serve
