Site/ Setting Out Engineer - Cork DOE: €55k - €70K Company Overview: A main contractor who has a new project in Cork are seeking a Site/ Setting Out Engineer to support their team on the project. Job Summary: Setting out, levelling and surveying the site. Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate. Providing progress reports for the site management team & clients. Regular use of AutoCAD to check on site dimensions. Taking levels for the construction of a structural steel frame, finishing concrete, drainage services and roadways etc. Liaising with sub-contractors & site managers.
Ensure all health & safety procedures are maintainedQualifications and Experience: Degree in Civil Engineering. 3+ years' experience in setting out on construction sites,Experience working with a main contractor desirable but not essential. Experienced in the use of instruments (total station, GPS)Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
