The occupational health staff nurse is responsible for the administration and operation of efficient occupational health services, compliance with relevant occupational health legislation, the assessment of occupational health risks, and the implementation of occupational health management programs. This position reports to the senior occupational health nurse and holds the task grade t08. The ideal candidate must be in possession of a registration as enrolled nurse with sanc, certificates in audiometry and spirometry and have two years’ experience in an occupational health environment.ResponsibilitiesSchedule & conduct pre-employment and periodic medical examinations.Maintain administrative accuracy.Identify and report on health matters, incidents, accidents, and trends.Equip the clinic to deal with all foreseeable medical emergencies.Maintain all legal compliance for the Clinic.Coach staff on basic Health and Food Safety awareness.QualificationsHigh quality of work standards and ethics.Emotional intelligence.Customer service orientation.Good organizational skills.Good communication skills.Good administration skills.Computer literacy.Closing Date: 31 October 2025As Sovereign is an equal opportunity employer, preference will be given to applicants of designated groups, as defined by the Employment Equity Act.Apply
